Secondary Outreach Service
Our Secondary Outreach Service (SOS) is a planned pilot service that will offer support to Oldham secondary schools when a child or young person is experiencing significant difficulty in school and the presentation of their behaviour means they are at risk of exclusion. Our service will support staff in schools to explore any barriers to learning and to improve inclusion and outcomes for specific pupils. We will do this by supporting colleagues to better understand the presentation of a child’s behaviour as a form of communication and trialling new approaches that help children to engage, enjoy and achieve in their learning.
There will be further information around this service and how to access it soon.
